Fernbank After Dark

Offered the second Friday of each month, Fernbank After Dark presents a variety of unique after-hours experiences for grown-ups, including museum exhibits, live music, full bars, tapas menus, science demonstrations and more. Tonight's live music will feature Tyrone Jackson and Generation Next.

Exclusively for ages 21 and over, Fernbank After Dark is a unique date night for couples, a great place to meet up with friends and a fun experience for travelers. Each month highlights a different science theme and features a variety of fun and immersive programming.

Spring concert for “Parliament,” Kennesaw State University’s Jazz Studies Department’s faculty band! Held in beautiful Morgan Hall on the university campus at the Bailey Performance Center. Live Jazz in a venue made for music. Abundant free parking. KSU also provides live streaming of this event.

The Tyrone Jackson Quartet

Atlanta Lovers Of Music

ALOMA is proud to present a concert in the home with one of the most renowned pianists on the jazz scene today, Atlanta’s Tyrone Jackson. Jackson has performed with Earl Klugh, Melba Moore, Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, Wycliffe Gordon, Vincent Gardner, Joe Lovano, and many other jazz luminaries. He will be presenting jazz classics and his original compositions and arrangements from his widely acclaimed CDs at this not-to-be-missed concert. Featuring Frankie Quinones percussion, Craig Shaw bass and E.C. III drums.

Under the direction of jazz master Dwight Andrews, the Senior Pastor of First Congregational Church, First Friday at First concerts offer some of the finest talent located here in Atlanta. This gifted group of musicians includes instrumentalists, vocalists as well as composers. First Friday at First is always held on the first Friday evening of each month starting in February and consistently bringing great jazz to Atlanta through November. Tyrone Jackson will be joining Wycliffe Gordon and his group.
